Shooting Ranges Open this week [9:00 AM-] (except as noted in events)
On Saturday, September 17, the chapter has a work party. All types of help are needed.
Working parties take place on the Saturday before the General Membership Meeting starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM. Lunch is provided afterwards. Keep an eye on the website for updates, changes, and cancellations.
Please arrive at 8 AM ready to work.
No personal equipment required other than gloves and something to drink, if desired.
Work Parties fulfill the new member 4 service hours requirement and are an opportunity to complete volunteer hours towards the 8 hours for a reduction in annual membership dues ($50). If you cannot complete 4 hours in one day, you can participate in multiple work parties (i.e., 1 hour a month for 4 months).
Work party consists mostly of ground maintenance activities (i.e., grass trimming/cutting, tree cutting, property clean up, etc.). If you require special accommodations (i.e., ADA related), contact the Caretaker to schedule individually - please coordinate at least 2-3 days in advance so proper accommodations can be made.
